Reducers represent the critical mechanical interface between the drill body and the mainsleeve of the surgical guide. In a single-sleeve system (where the guide is not replaced,but the diameters are adapted), the reducer compensates for the dimensional gapbetween the diameter of the drill in use and the internal diameter of the sleeve, ensuringcoaxiality and maintaining the planned vector.
